(ONLY FOR STUDENTS STUDYING A MENTAL HEALTH RELATED SUBJECT).

Mental Health Apparel will donate 15% of our profits from ALL orders to this Scholarship

Our goal with this Scholarship is to grant at least $500.00 to one African American Male or Female undergraduate student with their educational journey.

In the African American community, there is a low amount of Black Male or Female Mental Health professionals compared to other ethnicities. 

​

Therefore, we have to find a way to motivate the younger generation that this is a field we NEED more African American professionals.


With an increase of more black male and female Mental Health Professionals it will untimely help decrease the stigma in our community. 


Requirements for Scholarship

  1. Scholarship is Open to ALL African American male or female Undergraduate students studying a Mental Health based subject. 

  2. Must be currently enrolled to a College or University.  

  3. Must Submit a Request for Application BELOW and follow directions.

ALEA WATSON

Hi everyone! My name is Alea Watson. I’m from New Jersey and am currently a junior at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, double majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice while also double minoring in Africana Studies and Health & Society. In the future, I would like to continue in higher education and eventually earn in Psy. D, so that I can be a clinical psychologist and specifically serve adolescents within minority communities.
